Garick Appoints Peter W. Klaich as Senior Organics Program Manager

(CLEVELAND, OH) Garick, a nationwide distributor and processor of sustainable natural resource products, is proud to announce the appointment of Peter W. Klaich as Senior Organics Program Manager. Klaich joins the Garick team this April and will lead the development and implementation of organic diversion programs. Klaich has been at the forefront of commercialization of the global biodegradable polymer market and he will be an extremely valuable asset to the Garick team.Klaich is currently deeply entrenched in every major organic diversion program in the U.S. and Canada, including new biodegradable product development. He currently is a Board Member of the US Composting Council. He has served as a Board Member and Vice-President of the Biodegradable Polymer Institute (BPI). He also served on the Board of Directors of the Ohio Compost Association and contributed to the drafting of Ohio’s state composting regulations. Additionally, he was on the Board of Directors of Indiana’s Recycling Coalition and developed and initiated the first state sponsored composting seminar.
